Weapon Systems Engineering

“Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication.”

– Leonardo da Vinci

Our engineers have supported every phase of the weapon system lifecycle across the nation’s most critical missile programs — SM-3, AIM-9X, the M982 Excalibur guided projectile, and the Exoatmospheric Kill Vehicle. We provide the systems engineering that translates operational requirements into detailed designs, and we validate those designs through our in-house simulation infrastructure before they reach the test range.

Flow Field Analysis

Understanding the aerodynamic environment around a missile in flight is foundational to accurate performance prediction. We conduct detailed flow field analysis to characterize pressure distributions, shock interactions, and thermal loads across the flight envelope — work that feeds directly into our 6DOF simulation models for full-trajectory performance validation.

Systems Integration

Bringing together seeker, guidance, propulsion, warhead, and airframe into a cohesive weapon system requires disciplined interface management and rigorous integration testing. Our team has integrated complex subsystems across Army, Navy, and Air Force programs. We leverage our simulation capability to identify integration issues early — reducing risk and cost before hardware is committed.

Human Interface Engineering

The operator is part of the weapon system. We design human-machine interfaces for fire control systems, launch platforms, and command-and-control consoles that minimize cognitive load under stress and maximize decision speed. Our simulation environment enables iterative prototyping and operator-in-the-loop testing before fielding.
